Ah yes...
The first day of autumn...
And the 27th birthday of my beautiful little boy.
I love this time of year...
The weather is lovely...
The colors are becoming so warm and vibrant...
The air is clean and crisp...
I think I'll bake an apple pie...
Ah... autumn!
It's my birthday!
Just imagine...
I woke up to a sweet gift from Mr. Bliss...
Spent the day at work with many dear friends...
Was serenaded by 22 wonderful fourth graders...
Had tea with my most terrific Mom and Dad...
Spent the evening with my children...
Who could ask for more?

Well.... I am attempting to crawl out from under my rock. I hope some of you are still checking in occasionally.
A big hug to all of you who left such understanding and supportive comments on my last post. It is always so good to hear from you.
School is well underway around here. I have quite a cast of characters to keep me company each day. I will fill you in as always when those "from the mouths of babes" quotes happen!
I went out with the girls on Friday night. A much needed time to laugh and cry and tell stories and support one another. I am so blessed to have so many really terrific friends. They really do lift me up when I need it... and I hope I do the same for them.
So here's to the girls..
